My name is Jackie Rudd. I was born and raised in Berea, Kentucky. I attended Berea College where I met my husband. We moved to London in 1996 to start my teaching career. I have been blessed with 28 years of marriage, three children, and one grandson.
This is my 27th year of teaching in Laurel County. My career started at Keavy Elementary where I taught preschool for six years. I then moved into 4th and 5th grade for five years. I came to WPG when it opened in 2007. I taught kindergarten for 10 years and then switched to small group intervention teacher for grades 1st-3rd.I am currently teaching 5th grade writing and love being with the older students again.
WPG has an extremely dedicated staff and such amazing students. I can’t imagine working anywhere else. I love my Comets!
