Students in Mrs. Turner’s “Emergency Services Club” created E.D.I.T.H. charts today. EDITH stands for Exit Drills in the Home. Students drew pictures of the layout of their home and made a plan for escape in case of fire or emergency at their house. Students also included meeting places for their family to meet in case of emergency. Students in the club have already enjoyed a visit from the school SRO this year to discuss careers in law enforcement. In February, personnel from the fire service will visit to discuss those jobs, and in March, Emergency Services Club members will receive training in CPR!
