The SLMS Academic Team hosted its annual Cardinal Classic tournament recently. The varsity team finished fourth out of 16 teams and the following team members placed in the top ten in content assessment:
6th Grade
Trent Hollon - 7th place in social studies
Harper Hoskins - 1st place in language arts and 4th place in arts & humanities
Eli Lawson - 1st place in science, 2nd place in social studies and 4th place in math
Isaac McGehee - 4th place in language arts and 5th place in social studies
Jacob Morgan - 2nd place in language arts, 5th place in science and 8th place in math
Robert Powell - 10th place in science
Zaiden Swiderek - 1st place in social studies and 3rd place in science
Varsity
Jaxson Allen - 3rd place in social studies
Carson Brooks - 7th place in language arts
Tristan Hodge - 1st place in math and 6th place in social studies
Tate Jenkins - 7th place in social studies
Max Morris - 4th place in social studies and 9th place in arts & humanities
Kaiya Scalf - 2nd place in arts & humanities
Lauren Scheithauer - 1st place in math and 2nd place in language arts
