Laurel County Public Schools look forward to welcoming your child as a future kindergarten student!
The information collected will be utilized to begin the Kindergarten Registration process for the 2023-2024 school year. If you are enrolling multiple children for kindergarten, please complete a registration form for each child. Newly enrolled Kindergarten students must be five by August 1, 2023.
Kindergarten students must enroll in the school closest to their primary residence.
Families can complete the Kindergarten Registration form online and email it to their child's school or print the form and mail/deliver it to their child's school.

Other Documents required to complete Kindergarten Registration:
- Proof of Residence: One other following is accepted as proof of residence, utility bill (telephone, cell or residential), gas/electric, water bill, lease or house contract, paycheck or paycheck stub, SSI, or other government check.
- Current KY Immunization Certificate (Required by state law)
- Social Security Card
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Current Dental Exam/Screening (Completed by January 1, 2024)
- Current Vision Exam (Only required for students 6yrs. of age or younger, must be completed by January 1, 2024)
