Welcome to the Laurel County Schools Center for Innovation (CFI) web site.

Dear Stakeholders,

I am so grateful to be serving the students of Laurel County as they explore career and technical education. We are a unique, locally-operated center that supports the students from both local high schools (North Laurel and South Laurel). In addition to taking two core classes here, students are able to choose from the following programs to get a head start on the real world:

Biomedical Technology
Engineering Technology
Health Science
Industrial Maintenance Technology (IMT)
Media Arts Technology
NJROTC
Teaching & Learning

Students can begin their journey in CTE during their sophomore year and spend three years here earning dual credit, industry certifications, micro-credentials, and soft skills. The biggest thing to note is that students have options! We work closely with the counseling staff at both home high schools to ensure a schedule that meets the needs of each individual student.

How do you get the opportunity to attend? Look for the application window in November of the student's freshman year.
