Principal's Message

What I love most about being a Thoroughbred is simple – the students! I love watching them grow from bashful kindergarteners into confident young adults. They are why I have been in education for 27 years and why I chose to become a Principal at Hunter Hills Elementary. I am also extremely proud to be part of a community that values education, relationships, and resilience. Every day, I am inspired by the enthusiasm and the dedication of our teachers and staffulty. We work hard to foster an environment where everyone is encouraged to strive for excellence. Like our RACE motto says, we grow students who are R-responsible, A-achievers, C-cooperative, and E-excellent. Hunter Hills is more than just a place for academic achievement; it’s a nurturing space where students are empowered to become confident, compassionate, and well-rounded individuals. I love that our school places a great emphasis on both personal and academic development. That is one of the many reasons we are successful. At Hunter Hills, we are a family - all staff, students, and parents! I feel fortunate to witness the growth and success of our school every day, and I look forward to continuing to lead and serve this wonderful school.

What I love most about being a Thoroughbred is the sense of community that we've built together. There is a spirit of synergy at Hunter Hills that sets us apart. Our teachers are dedicated to bringing out the best in every student, our students are eager to learn and grow, and our parents are committed partners in their children's education. I consider it a privilege to be Assistant Principal at such a great school!

I am inspired by the creativity, persistence, and compassion that I see in our students each day. Whether it's excelling in academics, contributing to school events, or helping out a fellow classmate, our students embody the core values we strive to instill.

Relationships + Resilience +Respect = Respect

Our vision at Hunter Hills is to cultivate strong relationships, while empowering lasting resilience. I get excited every time I walk into one of our classrooms and observe all the amazing things our students are doing. We have SO much to celebrate and be proud of an Hunter Hills. I LOVE being a Thoroughbred!
